ABOUT ME

Hi Everyone! 🌿

I'm the founder of Moss Boss YYC, a business that began about 5½ years ago during a hike near my family's cabin in beautiful Flin Flon, Manitoba. While exploring the cliffs of the Canadian Shield with a friend, we found ourselves admiring the incredible lichen, moss, and textures that covered the landscape. We started talking about how amazing it would be to create art inspired by nature, and that conversation sparked an idea that would change my life.

I've always believed that nature is the most beautiful work of art. The colours, textures, and patterns found in the natural world never cease to inspire me. I especially love forests, the feeling of being surrounded by towering trees, soft moss underfoot, and the peaceful energy that only nature can provide. That same evening after our hike, I created my very first moss piece, and I haven't stopped creating since.

What started as a passion quickly grew into Moss Boss YYC. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with incredible clients and designing custom moss art walls that bring the beauty of nature indoors without any maintenance. Every project is unique, and I love helping people create spaces that feel calm, vibrant, and connected to the outdoors.

One of my favorite parts of being an entrepreneur is the variety. One day I'm focused on marketing and meeting new clients, and the next I'm in the studio designing and creating something entirely new. It's a journey that continually challenges and inspires me.
